MIDnet and The Quilt will lead an international panel discussion on research and education networks at the fall Internet2 Member Meeting in New Orleans on October 13, 2008. The panel will include representatives from MIDnet, The Quilt, Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association (TERENA) and Asia-Pacific Advanced Networks (APAN).

About The Case Study Project

The Case Study Project is a collaborative project with The Quilt to document business models of USA research and education networks. The documentation will be in the form of general overviews and case studies that include information on organizational structure, management, operations and pricing strategies.

An overview document for public review is available on both organization’s websites and detailed information on the project is available to the research and education community on request.

MIDnet is a private foundation with a solid history in regional network initiatives. We are currently working to form partnerships with strong regional and national organizations who can assist us in reaching our goals.
