About Us: News MIDnet and The Quilt Release Case Study ResultsLINCOLN, Neb, September 5, 2007- The Quilt and MIDnet, Inc. announced the findings of their collaborative project to document the business models of research and education networks. The project began in the spring and will continue until the majority of The Quilt member organizations have been documented. The cases studies include information on organizational structure, management, operations and pricing strategies. A document for public consumption is available on both organization’s websites and detailed information on the project is available to the research and education community on request. “Although the project is not yet complete, we have had numerous requests for the information collected during the project, which has strengthened our belief that there was a need for this project,” Jen Leasure, project manager of The Quilt,“We hope this is the first of many successful, collaborative projects.” About MIDnet, Inc.
